We are preparing the first Developer ID-signed and notarized public release. The download will appear here when it is ready.

A local build exists, but it will not be offered here until Apple has accepted its Developer ID signature and notarization.

What is included

Every feature that runs locally on your Mac is free, including capture, annotation, recording, and shader framing. Framebolt Cloud is a separate service and is not shipped here.

Install and verify

Keep the checksum beside the app

Download the ZIP only from the configured public URL and compare its SHA-256 value with the published .sha256 file.
Open the ZIP, move Framebolt.app to Applications, and launch it from there.
Approve Screen Recording or Microphone access only when macOS asks for a feature you use.

The packaging script writes a SHA-256 sidecar next to each local release candidate. A checksum cannot prove notarization; it only proves that the downloaded bytes match the published artifact.

Framebolt publishes a download only after the archive has a Developer ID signature, passes Apple notarization, and has a matching SHA-256 checksum. That keeps the release status on this page aligned with the file you install.
